Bachelor/bachelorette parties and corporate events on a boat in Mallorca: everything you need to know

More and more groups are choosing a boat as the setting for their bachelor or bachelorette party, or their corporate event, in Mallorca — and it's not just about the scenery: it's a private space from minute one, with no need to book several venues or worry about neighbours. Here's what to keep in mind to get it right.

How many people fit, and which boat to choose

Our fleet covers groups from 9-10 up to 14 people per boat. For larger groups, we can coordinate several boats sailing together, so the whole group reaches the same cove and can meet up in the water or on shore.

The sooner you book, the more options you have: the higher-capacity boats are the first to sell out in high season, especially on weekends from May to September.

Extras that make a real difference at a celebration

A private DJ or a playlist at full volume, jet skis or seabobs to break the ice among guests, catering with cava and appetisers, or an onboard photographer to capture the day — all of these can be added to your booking. It's common to combine two or three extras depending on the type of celebration.

For bachelor/bachelorette parties, the most requested combo is jet ski or seabob + catering + music; for corporate events, more formal catering and, group size permitting, a water-based team-building activity.

Half-day or full-day, depending on the plan

A half-day (4 hours) is enough for a bachelor/bachelorette party centred on a single cove with music and swimming. A full day (6-8 hours) lets you combine sailing, a stop at a beach club or restaurant with tender access, and a second cove in the afternoon — the most common format for corporate events looking for a full day out of the office.

How we organise it at Blue Mediterranean

Our concierge team works directly with you on guest numbers, the boat, the extras and, if you need it, the restaurant or beach club booking. The skipper makes sure the route matches what you've planned, so you don't have to worry about the nautical side of things.

Frequently asked questions

How far in advance should I book a bachelor/bachelorette party?+

As early as possible, especially in high season (July-August) and on weekends, when the higher-capacity boats sell out first. We recommend booking at least 3-4 weeks ahead.

Can we bring our own music on board?+

Yes, and we can also add a private DJ if you're after a more elaborate party atmosphere. Just mention it when booking.

Can we charter more than one boat for a large group?+

Yes, we coordinate several boats sailing together so large groups can enjoy the same itinerary and meet up in a cove.
