How much does it cost to charter a yacht in Mallorca? A real pricing guide
It's the first question almost everyone asks us, and the honest answer is "it depends" — not vaguely, but on a handful of very specific factors you can understand in five minutes. Here's what actually drives the price of a one-day charter in Mallorca, with real examples from our own fleet instead of generic numbers pulled from the internet.
The biggest factor: the size of the boat
Across our fleet, a full day with a skipper ranges from a little over €1,200 on a 12-13 metre motorboat to more than €9,000 on a 22-23 metre yacht that sleeps up to 12-14 guests. It isn't a linear scale: the bigger the boat, the more crew, fuel and upkeep sit behind it, and that shows up in the price.
The question that actually helps narrow down a budget isn't "how much does a yacht cost?" but "how many of us are going, and what are we after?". A relaxed day for 4-6 people exploring coves doesn't call for the same boat as a bachelorette party for 12.
Low, mid and high season
Every boat in our fleet has three rates depending on the time of year: low season (roughly November to April), mid season (May, June, September and October) and high season (July and August). The gap between a boat's low and high season rate is typically around 25-35%.

What's included in the price, and what isn't
A licensed professional skipper is included on every single one of our boats, no exceptions — it isn't an optional extra you negotiate. That's one of the key differences from renting a small licence-free boat (bareboat), where the starting price is lower but you need your own boating qualification.
Fuel, on the other hand, is typically billed based on actual consumption on the larger boats — standard practice in the industry, so boats that sail a couple of hours aren't priced the same as ones covering a long route. We always confirm this before you set off, so there are no surprises on the way back.
It's also standard to leave a refundable security deposit (usually a card pre-authorisation), released with no issues once the charter ends. We give you the exact amount when confirming your booking, along with the full breakdown of what your specific boat includes.
The extras that can add to your budget (and are worth it)
Beyond the boat rental itself, many guests personalise their day with extra services: jet skis, seabobs or e-foils, gourmet catering on board, a table reserved with tender access at a coastal restaurant, an onboard masseuse or a private DJ for a special occasion.

Half-day vs. full-day: the other price factor
As we explain in our charter types guide, a half-day (typically 4 hours) costs less than a full day (6-8 hours), though the exact saving varies by boat. If it's your first time with us, booking a half-day is a safe way to try the experience.
A note on multi-day charter
Everything above refers to the most common format in Mallorca: a one-day skippered charter. If you're after something different — a full week exploring several islands, for example — the pricing model changes (that's where concepts like APA, or Advance Provisioning Allowance, common in weekly superyacht charter, come into play).
